This Privacy Policy explains how Relationships Tracker collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the app, website, reminders, and account features.
1. Who controls your data
For now, this service is presented under the name Relationships Tracker. If the service is later operated through a registered company or sole-trader legal entity, this section should be updated with the full legal business name and postal address.

2. What data we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, and authentication status.
- Relationship and reminder content you choose to save, such as names, milestone dates, notes, gifts, communication preferences, and reminder settings.
- Technical data needed to run the app, such as browser notification permission status, device-local storage values, and session-related identifiers.
- Support or deletion-request emails you send us directly.
3. Why we use your data
- To create and manage your account.
- To save and sync the relationship information you choose to keep.
- To send account-related emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset messages.
- To generate reminders, notifications, and optional AI guidance within the app.
- To secure the service, debug issues, and respond to support or privacy requests.
4. Legal bases
We generally rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the feature:
- Contract: to provide the app features you actively request, such as account access, sync, reminders, and saved history.
- Consent: for optional browser notifications, optional email reminders in the future, and any optional processing that is not strictly needed to provide the app.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the service where those interests do not override your rights.
5. Sensitive or highly personal information
The app may allow you to store notes that reveal highly personal or sensitive details. You are responsible for deciding what you enter. We recommend that you do not store information revealing health details, sex life, or other especially sensitive third-party information unless you have a clear reason and permission to do so.
6. Service providers and processors
We rely on third-party services to run the app. These may process data on our behalf for specific purposes:
- Cloudflare: hosting, edge delivery, and serverless functions.
- Supabase: authentication, account data, and synced app data.
- Resend: transactional account emails such as signup confirmation and password reset messages.
- AI provider used through the app: only when you actively request AI guidance features.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where relevant, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, such as contractual protections and the provider’s own compliance commitments.
8. Retention
- Account and saved relationship data are kept until you delete them, ask us to delete them, or the service applies a future inactivity policy.
- Account emails and reset flows are retained for as long as needed to provide account access and security.
- Support and privacy request communications may be retained as long as reasonably needed to document and complete the request.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data. In the EU/EEA, these rights include the right to request erasure and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

10. Deleting data
Inside the app, signed-in users can clear saved relationship data directly from the account area. If you want a full account deletion request reviewed manually, email [email protected].
11. Cookies and local storage

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy over time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.
